Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Yan Diomande and are in talks with RB Leipzig over a potential deal for the 19-year-old winger. Paris Saint-Germain remain keen on the Ivory Coast international and Diomande had made the European champions his preference, but they have not yet shown a willingness to offer a level of fee that would convince Leipzig to consider a sale this summer. Madrid registering their interest in signing Diomande has changed the winger’s situation and has created competition for his signature.

Aber aus Spanien erfuhr SPORT BILD: José Mourinho (63) soll Diomande als einen seiner Wunschspieler als Ersatz für einen möglichen Abgang von Vinícius Júnior (25) genannt haben. Die Spanier wären einer von ganz wenigen Klubs, die das Paket aus Mega-Ablöse, sportlich höchstem Niveau und schillerndem Klubnamen vereinen.
“I didn’t think everything would go this fast,” Diomande said this week as part of a media roundtable. “But imagine someone tells you that you could go to Chelsea or Real Madrid to do this job. You would be happy and motivated to do more.”
But interest extends well beyond England. On the continent, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, and PSG are also said to be keeping close tabs on the teenager, recognising his potential to become one of the most dynamic wingers in Europe.
